Is 'clear zinc oxide' nano or non-nano zinc oxide? All mineral sunscreens can be somewhat whitening, but clear zinc is definitely less whitening and it disappears as you rub it in. Badger sunscreens have been independently tested using light scatter analysis and do not contain any free nanoparticles. Can I use this sunscreen on my baby / toddler / kid / child? Yes. The only difference is that Badger's Kids Sunscreen has a tangerine & vanilla scent, and the Baby Sunscreen has a chamomile & calendula scent. This sunscreen is unscented and works great on people of all ages. What are all the ingredients? Is the zinc oxide non-nano? Just 4 ingredients: mineral zinc oxide, organic sunflower oil, organic beeswax, vitamin e. The zinc oxide is large particle clear non-nano and won't be absorbed into your body. There are no nano particles in Badger sunscreens. What is the difference between the tin vs. the tube sunscreens? What about the SPF 50 tin vs the SPF 40 tin? They all have the same ingredients. The tinned sunscreens start out a little bit thicker but easily melt when you rub them in your hands and are easy to apply. The SPF 50 tin just has a little more zinc oxide than the SPF 40 tin, both are unscented. Can this sunscreen be used on your face? Does it protect from both uva and uvb rays? Yes.
